Taking photos of events and publishing the photos on the website, on social media channels and in printed media (specifically: catalogues, brochures) for publicity work and to show the activities of Th. Geyer GmbH & Co. KG.

4. LEGAL BASES

Justified interest in accordance with point f) of Art. 6(1) GDPR as well as Sections 22, 23, 24 KUG (Art Copyright Act) and Sections 14, 28 Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG): Publicity work and presentation of the activities of Th. Geyer GmbH & Co. KG. You have the right to object to processing. The objection can be addressed to: datenschutz@thgeyer.de (though it is possible to make an objection in any other way). It is assumed, however, that the interests of Th. Geyer GmbH & Co. KG in the taking and use of photos will not excessively interfere with the rights and freedoms of natural persons, especially because they have entered the public space, the fact that photos would be taken and used was communicated in advance and at the event, and when taking and publishing the photos it is ensured that no justified interests of the people depicted are violated. If the rights and freedoms of a person depicted are violated under particularly extenuating circumstances, however, we will prevent further processing using suitable measures. Deletion cannot take place in printed media that have already been published. Deletion will take place on the website or on social media channels where technically possible.

The data is made publicly available online and published on social media channels. The data is published in printed media and is distributed to the public in a limited printing run. The data is not forwarded to recipients who pursue their own purposes with this data. On social media channels, however, it may transpire that the social media service will obtain rights of use to the published data. It is not intended for data to be sent to recipients in an external country (outside of the EU) or to an international organisation. Automated decision-making (profiling) does not take place.
